Interior Subcommittee Chair Mike Simpson (R-ID) has already recommended each Endowment receive $203.895M, a slight reduction from their current level. Rep. Josh Brecheen (R-OK) has proposed an amendment to reduce this funding even more\u00a0\u2013 suggesting a 25% cut to the NEA to its FY19 level of $155 million. His proposal for the NEH would reduce its funding to $150 million.\u00a0<br><br>Advocates are urged to contact their Representative to oppose these amendments.
