Efforts to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education have already resulted in <a href=\"https:\/\/ag.ny.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/court-filings\/state-of-new-york-et-al-v-linda-mcmahon-united-states-department-of-education-complaint-2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>court action (PDF)<\/strong><\/a>, since fully eliminating the agency requires an act of Congress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The League is an active member of the Music Education Policy Roundtable, hosted by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). The latest additions include background about the March 19 technical assistance documents issued by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), <strong>\u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eeoc.gov\/what-do-if-you-experience-discrimination-related-dei-work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>What To Do If You Experience Discrimination Related to DEI at Work<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d <\/strong>and <strong>\u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eeoc.gov\/wysk\/what-you-should-know-about-dei-related-discrimination-work\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>What You Should Know About DEI-Related Discrimination at Work.<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong>These technical assistance documents are not formal EEOC guidance, which requires a vote.
