Without it, our work, our art, and even our relationships with each other can stagnate\u2014yet many people hesitate to speak up. When feedback feels risky, key information doesn\u2019t reach those who need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, gain practical tools you can use immediately in rehearsals, meetings, corridor conversations, and everyday orchestra scenarios to foster growth and healthier collaboration. You\u2019ll learn how to give feedback with clarity and care, receive it without defensiveness, and seek clarification when feedback feels unclear or difficult, all without escalating tension. The workshop emphasizes psychological safety, reflection, and optional participation\u2014no role-play required.<br>&nbsp;<br>When feedback is safe and specific, everyone can name what\u2019s working, what isn\u2019t, and what needs to change.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This workshop will be run three times; on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/americanorchestras.org\/event\/the-art-of-giving-and-receiving-feedback-february-4\/\">Wednesday, February 4<\/a><\/strong>; <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/americanorchestras.org\/event\/the-art-of-giving-and-receiving-feedback-february-9\/\">Monday, February 9<\/a><\/strong>; and Friday, February 27.
